FTTH Drop Cable

FTTH Drop Cable is commonly known as indoor hanging wiring cable. It is mostly single-core and double-core structure. It can also be made into a 4 or 8 cores structure with a cross-section of 8-shaped. The reinforcement is located at the center of the two circles. It can be made of metal or non-metal structure. The fiber is located in the geometric center of the 8-shaped shape. The fiber in the cable is made of G.657 small bending radius fiber, which can be laid at a bending radius of 20mm.

The 250μm fiber is positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of PSP longitudinally. Between the PSP and the loose tube water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape. The parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides tape. The cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
